My Golf Philosophy 나의 골프 철학

My golf philosophy

Some years ago I paid $150 for an iron golf club fitting session at New York Golf Center in Manhattan, using a sophisticated simulation equipment, trying all the major brands of irons in the market such as Callaway, Taylor Made, Titleist, Nike, etc...and it came out that I consistently hit the ball best with a Mizuno JPX 825 with a distance of 170 yards...Hummmm

The thing is that I don't like the Mizuno brand, plain and simple.

So I decided to get the Callaway X-Hot combo golf clubs set, ignoring the advice of the trainer...

But is was fun to discover my shot distance, the distance the ball travel in the air, the ball speed, the club speed, the launch angle and the spin rate....

Besides, the fitting results are good right now and nobody can predict what it will be in six months.

So, at the end of the day, you will still play golf not knowing for sure the outcome. So, let's enjoy the game per se and not focus on the number that comes out at the end of the game whether it is a single digit or not...

Isn't it just marvelous that we are physically able to hit a ball with a club, that we can see with our eyes that ball traveling through the blue sky God had created, walk with enthusiasm using our strong legs toward that ball lying on the green grass, while chatting with our dear family or friends on the way? And do that again and again?
